Country Of Origin: South Korea 🇰🇷

The Korean corn dog offers a fresh, unique twist on the classic American hot dog. This wildly popular street food is prepared by coating a sausage in batter, then deep-frying it in oil. The dish is presented skewered on a stick and it is usually consumed on the go. Hot dog vendors sell them throughout Korea, and there are a many different variations. They can be wrapped in bacon, mashed potatoes, seaweed, among many other options. These lightly sugar coated treats are sure to satisfy those sweet and savory cravings. Any condiment can then be drizzled on top, although tomato ketchup is typically used as the main one.
